After celebrating at the Eastside Manor studio with the band and then braving a torrential Nashville summer downpour, Kelsey Kopecky of Kopecky Family Band met us, soaked and sopping, for drinks. All of us, victims of the storm and collectively wringing out our hair, were ready to sit around some of the best mules in town.
Showing up like rag dolls in the south is almost an invitation to talk. The tables around stared and pursued friendly conversation observing of our soaked condition while we all tried to settle in.
